COLD WEST PUBLISHING
The Cold West Detective Agency is a registered New Mexico based detective agency led by former Garland, LAPD, and US Bureau of Land Management officer Steven M. Sederwall. Steve specialized in cold cases and crime scene investigations and made history in 2003 by reopening the cold case of the two deputies killed by Billy the Kid in the Lincoln County Courthouse in Lincoln, NM. The story of this case was the first time that Billy the Kid made the front page of the NY Times and Steve and Cold West received international acclaim for their work. Since 2003, Cold West has continued to work on cold cases and has made tremendous contributions to history by working on the murder of Colonel Albert Fountain (the attorney for Billy the Kid), the search for the real Jesse James, and many more. Cold West Publishing is the publishing arm for Cold West and publishes their work under exclusive license.

Although every Cold West posse member has a law enforcement, research, investigations or legal background, apparently its important to also have a beautiful blonde in the mix....at least that's what every TV producer we speak with tells us.
Stephen has been a Cold West Detective from the beginning and was instrumental in setting the direction of Cold West Investigations. He's a critical thinker, who has seen the West from horseback and he understands every aspect of history and her people.
